Staff Nurse
Full time 37.5 hours per week or Part time (on shift pattern)
Salary Scale £21,387 - 27,625 pa (depending on experience)
Plus enhanced rates for nights/weekends.
Contract of employment is with Woodlands Hospice however the pay scale mirrors NHS agenda for change band 5 .
Woodlands Hospice is an independent charity providing Specialist Palliative Care to patients living in South Sefton, North Liverpool and Knowsley. The Hospice has a 15 bedded Inpatient Unit and also provides day therapy, outpatient and outreach service and hospice at home in Sefton.
An opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse to join our multi professional team on the inpatient unit providing symptom management and complex end of life care to patients living with a life limiting condition.
The successful applicant will assess, plan, implement and evaluate evidence based patient care and provide support to the patient’s family.
The successful applicant must have a minimum of one year post registration experience. It is desirable but not essential that applicants have HEA 3038, Mentorship in practice or equivalent and HEA 3032, Psychosocial Aspects of Palliative Care.
