Clinical Services
Woodlands Hospice is an independent charity situated in the grounds of University Hospital Aintree and serves a population of 330,000 in South Sefton, North Liverpool and Knowsley.
The Hospice provides Specialist Palliative care for people living with life-threatening illness, taking into account their physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs. Care is provided by a multi-professional clinical team and includes support for families and carers both individually and via the Carers’ support group.
The Clinical service can be divided into the following areas :

Jane EvansThe Original Woodlands Hospice website was dedicated to Jane Evans, a former Woodlands Hospice guest who's family very generously set-up, provided and hosted the website. Woodlands Hospice is forever grateful and indebted to Jane's family for their support and generosity.
