Liverpool Direct Limited Adopts Woodlands Hospice as Charity of the Year 2011

We are delighted announce that Liverpool Direct Limited (LDL) have adopted Woodlands Hospice and Cystic Fibrosis as the Charity of the Year for 2011
Employees of Liverpool Direct have already been very busy fundraising for their two adopted charities. LDL recently celebrated their 10th Anniversary and used the opportunity during their celebrations to do lots of fundraising activities to raise money for their two charities.
On the announcement of the adoption David McElhinney, the Chief Executive of Liverpool Direct Limited, said: “As part of our ongoing commitment to support charities in the local area we are truly delighted that our staff have voted Woodlands Hospice in this year’s charity vote to be one of our two chosen charities in 2011/2012. Throughout the next 12 months our staff will come together to raise funds through a variety of events and activities. We look forward to working with Woodlands Hospice and supporting them”.

In 2010, we were delighted to be chosen as Charity of the Year by Merseyrail.
Amongst other activity, they held an It's a Knock Out competition which raised a fantastic £6000 for Woodlands Hospice. A great day was had by all who attended and the winning team was the team from Gap Plant Hire, Bootle.
