Thanks to a fantastic new service from JustGiving and Vodafone, supporters are now able to donate to Woodlands Hospice via their mobile phones! What's more, the service is being provided free of charge to charities, ensuring that 100% of supporters' donations are received by the charities.
To donate now, simply decide how much you want to donate (the service will accept donations of £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 and £10) and then text WUDU11 followed by a space, and then the about you wish to donate (eg £5) and send the text to 70070. The amount donated will then be added to your mobile phone bill or taken from your current balance by your pay as you go provider.
The text will cost you a maximum of one regular text message (free from some providers) plus your donation amount.
You will receive and acknowldegement text from us thanking you for your donation and asking you to go online to submit a Gift Aid declaration. If you are a UK tax payer and are eliglble to make a Gift Aid declaration, please do use the weblink and sign up. We are able to claim 25p for every £1 donation making yoru donation go even further!
