Volunteer opportunities exist for:

Volunteer Shop Assistants
Could you work in a shop?
Our hospice shop in Walton Vale is an important part of the Hospice - helping to raise the awareness of the Hospice in the community and raising vital funds through selling donated goods.
Duties include:
- Sorting and pricing stock
- Operating the till
- Arranging stock and window displays
- Keeping shop clean and tidy
- Dealing with customers and people donating goods
- Promoting items for sale
Training and support are provided. Out of pockets expenses can be claimed. All volunteers are required to provide two references.
For further details please contact Marie Morgan, Volunteer Co-ordinator, on 0151 529 2634 or call in to the Woodlands Hospice Shop.
Volunteer Driver
The hospice relies on volunteer drivers to transport our patients to and from home. Many of our patients do not have access to, or are unable to use, their own vehicles or public transport.
Without volunteer drivers, we would be unable to provide the very personal service that we aim to offer to all of our patients.
Training and support are provided.
Expenses
Volunteers using their own cars on Hospice business can claim mileage.
Insurance
Volunteers will need to notify their insurance company. No extra premiums should be incurred.
For further details on these, and other, volunteering opportunities please contact Marie Morgan, Volunteer Co-ordinator on 0151 529 2634.
