When: Saturday 13th October

5pm for registration and warm up, walk starts 6pm.

Where: Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre

Our new evening walk in the Woodlands Hospice fundraising calendar is a chance to get together with family and friends and have fun, whilst raising valuable funds to care for our patients and their families.

How far is it?

There are 5K and 10K options.

Are there any age limits?

No! Children under 16 must be accompanied by adults. The walk is suitable for pushchairs.

Can I bring dogs?

Yes, but they must be on a lead at all times. No dogs that fall under the Dangerous Dog Act. Please note only guide dogs are allowed inside the Adventure Centre.

Can I dress up?

Absolutely! We encourage you to dress up as brightly as possible and there will be a prize for the brightest dressed! Every participant gets a free Light up the Night t-shirt to wear for the walk and accessories will be available to buy on the night so remember to bring cash. Please wear suitable footwear.

Am I expected to raise money?

Fundraising is essential to keep Woodlands Hospice services running. To continue to provide our services free of charge we need to raise more than £3,500 every day and we can only do this with your help. We are looking to raise a total of £30,000 from this event so every little counts! We can help you with your fundraising. Contact Bobbi on 0151 529 8193 or email bobbi.holding@aintree.nhs.uk for help and advice to get you started.

What happens at the end of the walk?

The walk finishes back at the Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre, where there will be food and refreshments waiting for you, alongside a medal and a big thank you from us all!

Don't forget to glow! There will be prizes for the brightest dressed and most sponsorship raised!
