Woodlands Hospice Light Up The Night is back!! It’s a chance to get together with family and friends and celebrate a loved one whilst helping raise vital funds for Woodlands Hospice.
Where and when?
Whether you have chosen the 5k or 10k option the walk will begin at Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre, heading along the coastline before taking you around the leafy streets of Crosby and Waterloo.
Registration is from 16:45pm, warm up is at 5.45pm followed by the walk at 6pm.
What to expect
The walk will be set at a family and doggy friendly pace as there will be a lead and rear marshal guiding the way as well as many other friendly faces in place to encourage you along the way.
The walk finishes back at Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre, where you will receive your medal and a huge thank you you from us all! There will be hot food and refreshments waiting, along with a great mix of entertainment and some fantastic prizes on offer.
Get your glow on!
We encourage you to dress up as brightly as possible and there will be a prize for best dressed! A fantastic range of glow accessories will be available to purchase from the hospice reception in the weeks running up the event and there will also be plenty available to purchase on the night.
As you will know fundraising is essential to keep Woodlands Hospice services running. As an independent charity we need to raise £4,000 per day to be able to continue to provide our services free of charge to those who need us at their most vulnerable.
You will be sent a link to your unique online fundraising page, which will allow you to share your incredible efforts with family, friends and across all social media platforms.
