No Sweeyes for a Month Challenge for Woodlands Hospice

As well as physical challenges such as marathons, skydives, coast to coast cycle rides, channel swim, tough mudder etc. many people choose to take on a personal non physical challenge to help the Hospice.

These have ranged from giving up sweets and fizzy drinks, to sponsored slims, Drythalon (giving up alcohol for a month), cutting off hair, or full head shave to name but a few. As with the physical challenges people seek sponsorship from friends, family and colleagues whilst they endure their personal challenge all for a good cause.

For some there are benefits to the individual in addition to the feel good factor about the money raised for the Hospice, such as weight loss or drinking less alcohol - giving improved health benefits, or simply achieving the goal or income target they may have set themselves.

To help you collect your sponsorship money you can set up an online fundraising page at www.justgiving.com or virginmoneygiving.com  We can also provide you with paper sponsor forms for those who do not want to donate online.

If you would like to take on your own personal none physical challenge please contact Carole Riley on 0151 529 4143 or by email at carole.riley@aintree.nhs.uk
