Tour de Woodlands Charity Night

‘Tour de Woodlands’ Charity Night
Friday 23rd June 2017

There will be an event held on Friday 23rd June at St Pauls Parish Club in West Derby, to wish John Nielson well in his fundraising challenge, riding 120 miles, to support Woodlands Hospice.

John has not ridden a bike for more than 40 years, and plans to take on the toughest challenge of his life riding 120 miles in one day around the Ring of Kerry in Northern Ireland on Saturday 1st July 2017!

The aim of the ride is to seek support to provide a space within the Hospice that children and young people can call their own. A space that is warmly decorated and resourced, ans environment that offers escape, to have fun and a break, a chance to be with their own thoughts and share experiences and feelings with other children and young people, to make friends and gain peer support.

To wish John well and raise as much money as possible there is an event organised for Friday 23rd June starting at 7:30 pm and finishing at midnight. It will be a fun night with great music to dance the night away, alternative bingo with some surprises and lots of laughter, and of course a good old fashioned raffle with amazing prizes.

Tickets are £5 and available from Elaine Pugh on 07534 876 339
