Lottery Canvasser 

37.5 hours per week Woodlands Payscale point 10

Salary £16,010 per annum + commission paid above 15 membership sign-ups per week (Uncapped earning potential)

We are looking to recruit a Lottery Canvasser who will be responsible for the growth of membership into our weekly lottery through promotion at public and private venues including door to door campaigns.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of achieving sales targets with a hunger to increase the membership of our weekly lottery which provides vital funding for Woodlands Hospice.

Sales experience is a must and sales in a similar role a distinct advantage.

Retail Co-ordinator

37.5 hours per week Woodlands Payscale points 14-16

Salary £18,376 to £19,872 per annum (Depending on experience)

Due to expansion of our Trading Company we are looking to recruit a new

Retail Co-ordinator who will manage our growing portfolio of charity shops (currently 5) and ensure achievement of financial targets, availability and rotation of stock, standards of premises and high standards of customer service.

The successful candidate must have

  • A proven track record of achieving income targets within a retail environment
  • Demonstrate people management skills - the management of volunteers being a distinct advantage

Desk Top Publishing Officer

20 hours per week (Full Time Equivalent 37.5 hours)

Salary Scale £19,872 - £21,486 per annum, pro rata (Woodlands Payscale Points 16-18)

Due to internal promotion we are looking to recruit a talented Desk Top Publishing Officer to develop and produce high quality and highly professional publications, including leaflets, corporate documents and promotional materials for Woodlands Hospice.

The successful applicant will be responsible for designing and producing all materials, liaising with relevant third parties to ensure deadlines are met and publications are to a high standard and cost effective.

We are looking for applications from candidates with the following experience and skills:

  • Designing and producing professional promotional and corporate documents
  • Working to agreed targets and deadlines through effective time management and prioritisation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral
  • Excellent understanding of Adobe packages
