Donations

You donate to Woodlands Hospice on the understanding that once the donation is accepted it is not possible to provide a refund. Standard debit / credit card rights are maintained.

Registration for events

You enter Woodlands Hospice Fundraising events on the understanding that once the entry is accepted it is not possible to provide refunds, deferrals or entry transfers. Standard debit / credit card rights are maintained for seven days after entry.

Sale of goods via the website

Pricing

All prices are in £ sterling and inclusive of VAT. Prices may be subject to change without notice, but we will only alter the price after we have confirmed your order, if this is to your benefit.

Foreign customers

This website is designed for UK customers only.

Payment

You may pay by any major credit card or debit card.  If you wish to pay by cheque, UK postal order or money order please telephone 0151 529 2968 and we can post an order/­registration form to you. Please do not send money (notes) in the post. 

Product availability

Items shown on this website may not always be in stock. If any of your chosen items is not in stock, you will be advised of our best estimate of availability and delivery date. Please note that an indication of such dates is an estimate only, may be subject to change without notice, and does not constitute a contractual obligation by Woodlands Hospice to supply goods by a certain date. However, if availability is unduly delayed, we will endeavour to keep you informed.

Accepting orders and security

When you place an order we will treat it as an offer to buy. If we accept your order, we will send you a confirmation email with your order number, at which point we make a legal contract with you. However, we will be entitled to refuse to accept your order if we feel it necessary, in which case we will email you as soon as we can to let you know.

When you receive your email confirmation, you will have an opportunity to check the details and correct any errors.

In deciding whether to accept your order we may use the information you have given to us, or we already hold about you, or which we receive from any enquiry we may make with various agencies, to confirm your identity. This assists us to protect you and us from fraudulent transactions. If we decline your offer on security grounds we may contact you to seek an alternative payment method.

Refunds

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day .

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us () of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail). You may use the cancellation of order form below, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

We will offer you a refund if goods you bought turn out to be faulty or do not look or work as advertised. You must advise us within 14 days of receiveing your goods.

The process to return goods

You must send the unused goods back within 14 days of informing us.

You can combine the obligation to inform us and to send back the goods, for example, by adding a written statement with the goods that you are returning by post, or by sending a fax or e-mail.

We will give you a refund within 14 days from receipt of your cancellation, but can delay refunding you if they have not received the goods or evidence that you have returned.

This refund will include any shipping charges you paid when you made your purchase. However, we may charge you additional delivery costs if you specifically requested non-standard (express) delivery.

It is your responsibility to pay the costs of returning the goods. 

We will refund you using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

Delivery

Delivery charges are advised at checkout.  Should you wish to collect items from hospice reception therefore avoiding delivery charges please telephone 0151 529 2968 to make your order.

Our deliveries in the UK mainland are usually by Royal Mail second class delivery.

Transit damage

All goods are examined in detail by ourselves prior to despatch to ensure that they leave us in perfect condition. However, transit damage unfortunately can occur. If your purchase is showing obvious signs of transit damage upon delivery please notify us immediately.

Legal

Sales on this web site are governed by English law and you agree to submit any dispute to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. All orders are subject to these terms and conditions and no amendments will be accepted by us. These terms and conditions do not affect your legal rights.
