Your money goes to a great cause...
The Woodlands Hospice Lottery plays a vital part in our fundraising with all profits from the lottery going directly to the Hospice. Your £1 really can make a difference to the lives of our patients and their loved ones.
Each weekly entry in the lottery costs just £1. When you register as a member, you will be sent your own unique number which will be entered into the draw for you every week. The lottery computer randomly chooses nine winners every Friday.
Extra tickets can be purchased to increase your chances of winning at our hospice reception, our charity shops or by calling us on 0151 529 2630.
You don't even have to claim your prizes as cheques are sent out automatically following each draw. You can also check our list of latest winners here. All of the prizes are won each week there are no shared prizes or rollovers!!
Please note that an applicant MUST be over the age of 16 and a UK resident to participate in the Lottery. Please see our full Terms and Conditions. Lottery promoter: Jonathan Burgess, Head of Income Generation at Woodlands Hospice.

How are the lottery proceeds used and what are the odds of winning a prize?
Woodlands Hospice receives 60% of all proceeds from the weekly lottery, 22% of lottery proceeds is spent on prizes and 18% on expenses.*
Your chances of winning depend on the number of entries, which changes from draw to draw depending on how many entries there are, and on the number of prizes (9 per draw). Using average entry levels from 2019 as a guide, we estimate that each entry had a 1 in 333 chance of winning in a weekly lottery draw.**
