Woodlands Christmas Card Competition Winner

Recently Summerhill Primary School ran a Christmas card competition for Woodlands Hospice, there where so many entries and it was very difficult to pick a winner. We had four runners up places who received book vouchers and a goody bag.

Eva Marsham was our winner with her fabulous snowman picture, Eva is pictured here with her framed certificate. Jonathan Burgess our Head of Trading visited Summerhill Primary School on Friday 25th October along with Paula Parle, Community Fundraising Manager, to present the winning card to Eva and the school.  

Jonathan said he was blown away by the response of the children to getting involved in the competition; "it's amazing to see youg children so engaging with the hospice, we cannot thank the children and school enough for taking part in our card competition."

Woodlands has had Eva's card printed and it is now for sale as our limited edition card for 2019 which you can purchase by calling the Hospice on 0151 529 2630, visiting our Hospice shop or popping along to any of our shps in the community. 

All money's raised from the sales of our Christmas cards, including Eva's card, will go directly to Woodlands Hospice.
