Do something inspirational in 2018...

If you have a burning desire to do something inspirational, why not make 2018 the year you achieve it!

At Woodlands Hospice, we are always keen to hear from anyone interested in doing something extra special to help us meet our challenging fundraising targets.

Maybe you have always wanted to walk the Great Wall of China, cycle from Land's End to John o' Groats, or jump out of a plane! Whatever your inspiration, we will do as much as we can to support you.

Kate Leah, Fundraising Manager for Woodlands Hospice, said:

"We are constantly amazed and humbled by the lengths our supporters go to. Last year, dozens of people swam, ran, walked and cycled in aid of Woodlands.

"For 2018 we would like to hear from anyone out there who is willing to go the extra mile for us, whatever their inspiration might be. We can help them to publicise their event through local media and online, support them with sponsor forms or online giving, basically whatever we can do to raise more awareness!

"As a charity we have to raise over £1 million each to carry on caring for our patients and their families. If we can help someone's inspiration become a reality in 2018 it will help us enormously with our fundraising efforts."

If you are too busy to organise your own challenge, there are also a range of organised events that individuals can sign up to. For some ideas please visit our challenge page.

If you would like further information on challenge events or would like to take on a challenge in aid of Woodlands, please contact Kate Leah on 0151 529 2631 or email her here.
