Exploring Complementary Therapies at Woodlands Hospice

When people think of hospice care, they often think of medical support. But wellbeing goes far beyond physical health. At Woodlands Hospice, our Complementary Therapies service is designed to support emotional, mental and physical wellbeing, helping patients, families and carers find moments of comfort, relaxation and calm during difficult times.

Complementary therapies work alongside traditional medical care and can provide valuable support for managing stress, anxiety and the emotional challenges that can come with illness, caring responsibilities and bereavement.

What Are Complementary Therapies?

Complementary therapies are gentle, non-invasive treatments that focus on improving overall wellbeing. They can help reduce feelings of stress and tension, encourage relaxation, and provide an opportunity to pause and focus on yourself.
