Marks and Spencer Aintree Support Woodlands Hospice
Woodlands Hospice has received a very generous donation of £21,165 as a result of having been adopted as 2016/2017 Charity of the Year at the Marks and Spencer Aintree Store.
This amazing amount of money was raised in store through various fundraising activities organised by the staff at the store including sponsored mountain climbs, raffles etc. along with bag packs undertaken by Hospice volunteers.
Christine Peach, Corporate & Community Fundraising Manager at Woodlands Hospice said: ‘2016/17 has been an incredible year of fundraising for the Hospice and we are thrilled to have had such support from Marks and Spencer staff, their very generous customers and our own volunteers”.
Corporate Charity of the Year adoptions has many benefits to the organization and the Hospice and we very much welcome the opportunity to work with companies through such a partnership.
