Children from Archbishop Beck Catholic College descended on Woodlands just before Christmas to present a cheque for £100, which they raised by doing their own 'Santa Dash' around the school grounds.

The year 7 students then entertained our patients and their families in the cafe with an impromptu version of 'The 12 Days of Christmas', complete with actions!

It was a fantastic and unexpected surprise for the fundraising team at Woodlands as Carole Riley, Individual Giving Manager, noted:

"It was a lovely way to start the festive season and completely out of the blue. We are so grateful to the pupils and staff, not only for raising the money but also the efforts they went to in bringing it to us just before Christmas. The singing was their idea too and went down extremely well!"
