Patient and Family Services
Woodlands Hospice Charitable Trust has a professional Patient and Family Services Team consisting of qualified and experienced social workers, counsellors, complementary therapists and senior administrator/co-ordinator.
Hospice care extends beyond the treatment of physical symptoms and considers the emotional and social needs of patients, families, their friends and carers. We are helped to deliver this service by a team of skilled and trained volunteers.
Our approach is person-centred, with each person being supported individually depending upon their needs.

- Our Team can help patients, families and their children or grandchildren together during an illness and afterwards.

Support is available:

- Support groups
You can speak directly to a member of the Patient and Family Services team, or you can ask a family member, a friend, or a health care professional to contact the team on your behalf.
