Fundraise at school

Woodlands Hospice needs your help!

Have you heard about our Schools Programme? Whether you’re a student, teacher, parent or guardian, there are lots of ways that your school can get involved in fundraising for Woodlands Hospice! From non-uniform days to fancy dress days, bake sales to summer fairs or nominating Woodlands as your chosen charity, we’re here to support you with our Fundraising Ideas Brochure.

Through fundraising in school, students can learn vital life skills, build relationships with others, understand the importance of team work and gain awareness of social responsibility for their local communities from an early age. As well as raising money for the Hospice, our Community Events and Challenge Fundraiser can talk to students about what hospice care means, explain the work that we do and encourage pupils to take part in fun events.

What your fundraising means to us here at Woodlands

Hospice care is committed to delivering the best possible practice and development of Specialist Palliative Care for people with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses with complex needs. It honours people’s right to dignity and respect at whatever stage of their illness by its aim to improve the quality of life for patients and their families. This helps them to live actively and be as independent as possible. This support often extends to patients' carers, family and close friends.

Taking part in a fundraising activity for Woodlands will help us to continue providing care and support for our patients and their families
