Snowdon Walks
Why Walk Up Snowdon for Woodlands Hospice?
Taking on the challenge of climbing Snowdon isn’t just a personal achievement; it’s a powerful way to support a local charity that touches so many lives.
Support Compassionate End-of-Life Care
Woodlands Hospice provides free, specialist care for people with life-limiting illnesses, as well as vital support for their families. Every step you take up Snowdon helps fund that care when it’s needed most.
Choose Your Challenge: Day or Night
Climb Snowdon Your Way
Whether you prefer to take on Wales’ highest peak under blue skies or beneath a star-lit sky, this is a walk on your terms. Choose your route, your pace, and your date. Take on a solo adventure, gather the family, or form a group challenge – every ascent raises awareness and vital funds for Woodlands Hospice.
Snowdon at Night: A Truly Unforgettable Experience
Trekking Mt Snowdon (1,085m) during the daytime is already a fantastic achievement – but summiting at night brings a whole new sense of magic.
Using head torches to light your way and climbing with the moon as your backdrop, this night-time challenge offers a unique atmosphere and an incredible sense of accomplishment. Reaching the summit in time to watch the sunrise over Snowdonia National Park is a moment you’ll never forget.
As you descend, the full panorama of the mountains unfolds around you, rewarding your efforts with breathtaking views. And to celebrate your achievement, you’ll enjoy a delicious breakfast at the finish.
A Challenge with Meaning
Climbing Snowdon in honour of someone you love, or to support those in the care of Woodlands Hospice, gives every step deeper purpose. Your journey not only creates lasting memories – it inspires others to support compassionate end-of-life care too.
